O God, the source of all true love, I come to you wounded and bleeding deep inside my heart. I come to you a victim of fake love; please heal me from the grief, loss and pain of love gone wrong.
Help me overcome a deep heartache that destroyed me in the past. Make me whole and happy again even in my fear of never finding true love.
I have been needy and overly-anxious, desperate and too willing to settle. Please Lord, calm the need in me that leads to unwise choices. Fill the emptiness in my heart that makes me crave unhealthy and fake love.
Restore my faith in true love and relationships. And grant me the ability to love myself truly and fully. Help me to feel lovable and wanted again from within. May the healing process begin right inside my wounded and broken heart.
